Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for working and improving Datec Fiji’s market
position by implementing business strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and
building and managing customer relationships. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven ability to
work with various stakeholders to increase sales opportunities, improve market share and maximize revenue
growth. You will also assist in defining the long-term organizational strategic goals, negotiate and close
business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current ICT market conditions.
Job role, qualification, experience and skills: • Have a Degree in Computing Science, ICT, Sales, MBA or related field
• Proven success record and experience in a similar capacity
• Strong relationship management skills and demonstrated ability to analyze market data, develop strategic
direction and create compelling business cases.
• Ability to successfully negotiate and facilitate successful outcomes at a high level.
• Demonstrated ability to identify product gaps and requirements that can drive new market potential.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across various functions.
• Sound knowledge of technology, ICT products and industry.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• This is a highly collaborative role that requires solid communication, product development, demonstrated
relationship management and sales experience.
